This discussion is part of Dylan Quinn Dance Theatre's Conversations NI programme the aim of which is to enable and inform healthy debate about politically representation in Northern Ireland.
The questions up for discussion include:
1. How are we currently represented?
2. How might we be better represented?
3. How do current circumstances impact on how we’re represented and what suggestions do you have in the current situation?

Helen has been working alongside the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland for over 20 years, offering facilitation, training, evaluation and research. She was a facilitator for the first NI Citizens’ Assembly (on Adult Social Care) last year, and is a member of the facilitation team for the Scottish Citizens’ Assembly. She has designed and delivered training to communities in NI in areas including leadership, negotiation skills, and how to influence government. She is an affiliate of the Interaction Institute for Social Change, and has produced and contributed to a number of research reports and evaluations including: Women and the Conflict: Talking about the Troubles and Planning for the Future; Barriers to Women’s Participation; the Decade of Anniversaries Toolkit, and the Children and Young People Engagement Report for the Commission for Victims and Survivors.
